The 2007 Science Spring Showdown is drawing to a close in 2007's final few weeks. This year's tournament has seen its share of surprises, including Darwin's four-quarter shutout of Particle for a convincing 142 to 0 victory in Tuesday's semi-final match. The win advances Darwin to the finals for the first time since On the Origin of Species was first published in 1859. Darwin eagerly awaits the outcome of tonight's match which pits the ever popular Fossil Fuels against viral favorite H.I.V.
