Weekend at Virgilio's
01/09/2008
In a plot reminiscent of Weekend at Bernie's , two Hell's Kitchen senior citizens wheeled their recently deceased neighbor to a local check-cashing joint in an office chair with the intention of cashing the dead man's Social Security check. James P. O'Hare and partner-in-crime David J. Dalaia found Virgilio Cintron's body in his apartment along with a check for $355 and decided to capitalize on their discovery, but were thwarted when passers-by became suspicious of the lifeless body flopping around as it was wheeled down the street. If you feel inclined, read up on the details in The New York Times.
